                "The Song"                     

There's a special place in life, where my heart wants to sing.
  It's that special place in heaven and the joy it will bring.
The pain that I feel, I'm sure will never last.
It's the special love we carry for those things in the past.
      Like the angels that I meet, there's no way
       to run away.
Like the song that I sing forever and a day.

Look up at the stars, up in heaven, in the sky!
How could I ever feel this way, even doubt,
or deny?
      
The music that keeps playing is a life we must unfold.
It's the journey that we carry, not the outcome to behold.

Our voices will be strong and the songs will
be uplifted. It's the tune within our hearts, for
we are all the truly gifted.
