"AWAKENING "
The Morning has risen and there’s plenty to see,
I think of my life which flows like the sea.
The lies I was fed were simply untrue,
how freeing it was to embrace me a new.
My life is still young as is my rebirth,
I acknowledge and accept my precious self worth.
I shall never succumb to the pain of the storm.
Sunlight on my face always makes me feel warm.
My mind feels so calm as the rays hit the sky,
creating abundance for all those who cry.
I’ve motioned beyond those thoughts in my sleep,
moving faster in time as I run , stand and leap .
That bird knows its way as it stretches and sings,
"Its time to wake up, fly now with those wings ".
